Can a flat screen TV cause any illnesses?
My boss just installed a 42" flat screen plasma TV behind my desk to flash our company's information on it. Its about 1-2 feet behind my head. Can this cause me any medical issues? Thank you.

A 42 inch plasma screen gives off a certain amount of heat in normal operation. If you're as close as one foot from that, you might feel it. It could get quite uncomfortable with time.
Aside from that, there should be no hazard.

well most electronics do emit a frequency wave. if its 1-2 feet behind you then i wouldnt worry about it that much but i would either ask for that thing to be moved back a bit or for you to move forward.
