What do you think we should do about the border?

Patrol it with the ARMED US National Guard, set up checkpoints, a fence is useless they will just dig under it or go through it. Currently there is about a 3 mile fence along a 3,000 mile border from the US to Mexico. Just ask the newly created San Diego California Tunnel Division whose only job is to patrol the miles and miles of tunnels that smuggle people, drugs and anything else from Mexico, it's THAT BAD. Have US National Guard stations at the border towns of each of the Southern states. Patrol the border with drones, tanks and restricted air space for the US military.

What border? Mexico, or Canada? What will be next fences on our coastline so they cannot come in? Honestly to improve border security we need a policy that fixes our failed war on drugs and our subsidies of many crops. But better than building a fence would be to make the Largo Rio Grande. Which is a giant large moat (river) that starts at San Diego and empties out into the Gulf of Mexico. That would be cool so you could raft in it.

The border security is improving, but the real problem is with ICE. Border agents turn the people they catch over to ICE. The ICE official asks them if they are legal. They say YES! ICE man says "Have a nice day!" and lets them go.

Border agents are presently suing the gov about this very issue.

I definitely think it should be closed until we can put enough guards on it to completely strip search every vehicle and the passengers in it.

I am tired of the damages drugs and guns coming into Canada cause to my country.

Stop offering food stamps at the border.

Obama loves his drones - maybe he can put some on the border.

Seal it and let only the vehicles and individuals that come through a carefully monitored and/or inspected series of tunnels come through.

All others get blown away if other means of stopping them fail.

Enforce the fact that it's a border, not provide those who come here illegally with more benefits than those who live here legally. And stop giving official speeches in Spanish; that really irks me.
