Confused about Madara eye's and Obita's age?

1. Madara's eye was already capable of going into Rinnegan before he even gave it to Nagato. Nagato jus had to wake it up. He had the DNA of an Uchiha (i think) so the sharingan worked perfectly for him.

2. When you are revived by Edo, you are revived in a state like you were in your prime. This is why Itachi still had MS even though Sasuke already took it.

3. He awakened it when he was still alive, but he died so he never got to use it. When Kabuto revive him, Madara didn't have his original body to awaken the Rinnegan, but luckily, Kabuto gave him some Senju DNA to alllow him to use Wood style and awaken the rinnegan.

4. Obito needs his Sharingan for the space time ninjutsu he uses. He teleports a part of his body into another dimension, which makes it look like he's phasing.

5. I've been wondering about this myself. This one I think is just a plot hole. He just looked like he grew because of the Zetsu body. But honestly, I have no clue how Obito pulled that off.

1. I believe that the Rinnegan laid dorment in Nagato until he needed it/had the power to use it.

2. Since Kabuto said that he had improved upon Madara in his prime, we are lead to assume that the Edo Tensei can bring back a soul in any condition that it has previously been in, despite previous wounds. Doesn't make a lot of sense when we see the condition that Nagato was brought back in though.

3. Edo Madara had already awakened the Rinnegan before he died, using the DNA from Hashirama Senju. He just chose not to use it from the start of his battle with the 5 Kage.

4. The reason he doesn't steal both Rinnegan is because he would lose his unique Space-Time Jutsu if he were to do that. That is what allows him to avoid most attacks and teleport around. He used 1 Rinnegan so that he could control the Jinchuuriki and the tailed beasts they once possessed. Again, I'm not really sure how that makes much sense.

5. Kakashi is 29-30 in the Shipuuden series. Assuming Obito and Kakashi are similar in age that would make them both around 13-14 during the attack. This is one of the main reasons a lot of people don't like that Obito is Tobi. It does seem rather forced.

1. Madara did not give his eyes to Obito. When someone is resurrected with the Summoning: Impure World Reincarnation they retained any permanent injuries they had in life. If Madara gave Obito his eyes then he would not have any when resurrected. The Renigan is connected to the other eye techniquesso having one helps activate the others.

4. All of the eye techniques come at a cost. The more powerful the technique the higher the cost. Nagato only used his through the paths since it took so much of his energy that he would not have been able to fight very long in an active battle if his body was constantly being targeted.

5. Once Obito merged with Zetsu his age no longer mattered. His wisdom came from the Zetsu who learned from Madara. He isn't all that powerful outside of the time/space jutsu, he just uses it wisely. His size could be changed by zetsu since he was still growing. Obito is also about 6 years older the Kakashi. Kakashi became a chunin at 6 while Obito was 11 when promoted so he would be about 16-17 during the attack. His skill at controlling the fox came from knowledge passed from Madara who already know the key to controlling him.
