Thundering Blunders in DRS?
Yesterday it was Pak vs SA but i think due to poor batting display by Paki batter it all went down.
But today again Aus vs WI match,Thomas was given out without any conclusive evidance.
Thats the worst DR i've ever seen. Some people can say it's just luck for Aussies.Even the usually biased Aussie commentators didn't have any answer for that.
I am asking this from Aus users here,Is winning hook or crook make you happy, coz for me it's not.
I have a self conscious and it'll be always in my mind that we don't deserve this victory,
Im not just talking about just this match. But if that wicket didn't happen Aus won't have get any momentum. Still lot to go in this match.
However BCCI's stand against DRS might get more supporters after this,
And guess who is the TV umpire ,Asad Rauf (Pakistan).Yesterday they were all over crying and whining about all the DRS blunders in Paki vs SA.lol

yesterday i blame the DRS because the Hotspot was so sh*t but today i dont blame the DRS but instead i blame the 3rd Umpire, worst DRS decision ever.
Ironic that the TV Umpire is Rauf.

DRS is a package of blunders which is used to replace Umpiring blunders.
BCCI is an individual body, they have right to express their unwillingness if they are uncomfortable with a particular proposal. We cant ban someone's freedom of expression. BCCI never said that ban UDRS completely, they just don't want to use that (with its current structure) with Indian team and that is their fundamental right.
I usually watch matches involving Indian team only and Indian Team haven't used DRS much, still I've felt lot of holes in the UDRS boat. I am not against the technology but the usage should be rational.

Look mate, the BCCI has its reasons for not liking the DRS. But the way they cry and threaten to pull out of any match involving DRS is just childish. BOTH teams will benefit/lose from the DRS, its not just india.
As for the DRS itself, there are some problems there. No way is there some bullshat call "Aussie luck". Th DRS is not perfect, but its better than nothing. There are alot more right decisions being made thanks to DRS than shockers in the past couple days.

These things happen. I do agree that unless there is something to change a decision, like snicko, hotspot or hawkeye, the decision should stay with the original one.
Funny though that you are complaining about the Thomas decision. Any reason why no complaint about the Finch one in the first ODI, or was that OK.

Today it goes our way but tomorrow it may go their way. Its all swings and roundabouts. Win some, lose some. I wish it was perfect too and we never had to feel like cheats or cheated, but thats drs at the moment. Technology is here to stay.
