'96 Ford Power Stroke transmission . . .?

Doing my routine maintenance today, I checked the transmission (automatic) per the Owner's Manual. Nothing showed on the dip stick. I put in about 3/4 of a quart. Now it's above the fill mark. Can I leave it or should I drain some out?

Thanks.

If it is just a little over, no worry. Some can be a little tricky to check right after filling since it can get on the dipstick and cause you to misread it. Let it sit for a few minutes and shift into gear and back out and check it in park or neutral and running of course.
