Do atheists deny that planets, stars, comets and other heavenly bodies exist beyond our sensors just because t?

Based on the atheist logic, for the want of a better word, they surly can not believe anything they have not seen or experienced through their senses. At the end of the day they believe in these things using the same faith method they deny to Christians.

Update:

Well based on the answers given I found what I expected, I don't hate or demean Atheists in general but have just had it confirmed that many Atheists can't handle what they dish out and I find that sad.

As to wanting me to lose 5 points, who cares this is not my life and the suggester should consider getting one.

Update 2:

MICHEAL: I selected your response simply because it was not abusive and did not make a personal attack. You have respected my right to have my beliefs and I respect yours. Thank you

This question is really dumb, There is plenty of objective, verifiable evidence for planets, stars, and comets. Thus, they are not equivalent to god claims. Atheists generally don't limit belief to only things they can view with their eyes, rather to things that have verifiable evidence. We actually do use our senses to evaluate the evidence we have for planets, stars, and comets as well. I don't think you should be using Aristotle's name. I think he'd sue you for defamation as I doubt you could reason your way out of a room with a closed door. It's clear why you are a 'freelance' theologian. You also misspelled recent in your profile write up. So sad.

    We have seen them:

We have seen stars (the sun and the rest of them at night).

We have seen planets (Venus is occasionally visible at night, telescopes, satellites).

We have seen comets (same method as planets).

However, we can't experience miracles in the modern day,

The Bible is the only thing of Biblical times that mention Jesus, meaning nothing else supports it,

God has never bothered to appear to us outside of Biblical times (in the Bible),

    etc.

We have evidence for planets, stars, comets and other bodies from where we are and we can see them. The logic follows that they are out there.

What you are saying is as if just because we cannot see over the horizon, then the earth is flat and there is nothing over there because WE hadn't seen it... like they did in Biblical days. That's just retarded.

The existence of stars, planets, and other astronomical bodies in parts of the universe that we do not currently have the tools to observe is not inherently an extraordinary claim, because we have experience with stars, planets, and other such bodies, and know that they can and do exist in general. This is not the case of gods.

weve built machines that can pick up on signs of other planets, stars etc

and no we are not going on faith of these machines, we didnt say ' oh its picked up on something, it must exist' the machines have been tested repeatedly and have come up with the same results

thats what you do in science, you take many readings and only come to a conclusion when the results are always the same

    unlike religion

Assuming you actually would like to know (I'm sure you wouldn't be using this site to be disrespectful to atheists!), you should read 'The Magic of Reality' by Richard Dawkins. Dawkins isn't one of my favorite writers, in fact I wouldn't normally recommend any of his works, but this book is great, and it includes a whole chapter on how we know what is real and what isn't. The books is written for older children as well as adults, so it can easily be read by people with no scientific background.

I've seen pictures of planets. Do you have pictures of gods?

I've seen a comet with my own eyes, and everyone else who looked at it on a clear night saw it too. Has god done that?
