I am a Christian, Free Lance Theologian, Retired Veteran and Printer, TESOL Teacher Qual and avid reader. I love Dan Brown's writing style but believe him when he tells me it is fiction. Why? - I have read all the background myths. Best resent book at the moment - 1421 the Year China Discovered the World.

  • What is the most common language of India?

I have read a few questions in 'Answers' about language use in Indian and am interested in which is the most common and how wide spread is English. I have found when I use Hindi, as limited as my skills maybe, that even with correct diction not all the Indians I meet from India speak it but they all speak English (in many cases better than the English).

  • Do atheists deny that planets, stars, comets and other heavenly bodies exist beyond our sensors just because t?

Based on the atheist logic, for the want of a better word, they surly can not believe anything they have not seen or experienced through their senses. At the end of the day they believe in these things using the same faith method they deny to Christians.

  • What happened to the question is Satan good and God evil?

Halfway through answering this it disappears. Are there fellow Christians so weak in there faith they miss an opportunity like this? The questioner claimed that God was responsible for evil through the gift of free will.

Regardless of the apparent deletion here is my response:

What a load of miss guided rubbish you have chosen for your fishing bait. However I am glad you have used it for at last a theological debate has begun, thank you.

One of the trends I have noticed through out the history whilst researching it is how quickly believers and non believers alike are quick to blame misfortune on outside agencies such as God, Satan, Demons, Aliens or even the CIA.

The first point of course is that to blame God, who is all loving, for making us do evil is contradictory in itself. So what has God done other than grant us free will? Sent guidance through the prophets and Jesus as well as bless all who have come willingly to God is a response I would choose.

Now for Satan and his power to force us to go against God’s will. Not going to happen; Satan deceives and encourages us by having us believe we know better than God, for those of you who have rejected without reading I commend the explanation of Lehi’s in the Book of Mormon. However, if the Book of Mormon is so evil you can not caste your eyes upon it without frying your eye sight then read the bible for the examples of this are scattered throughout. Demons are a different kettle of fish being the tools Satan uses to try and control us; they are vanished easily if you follow Jesus’ examples. Neither Satan nor his minions have any power or authority over us unless we give it to them; the point here is that we can take that authority away and return to God who loves and awaits our return. Here we see the edge of Jesus’ comment that to sin against the spirit can never be forgiven. I.e. we not only choose to serve Satan but do his work and totally reject God.

As for Aliens and the CIA, one would hope they are too busy looking for each other to be a threat to our relationship with God.

This leaves the dreaded free will gift from God and whether it is evil as suggested. The answer is simply no for it is what we do with it that is either good or evil. An analogy would be to say fire is evil. This leaves the question as to why would God allow use the free will to choose good works or evil. I can not claim to fully understand God at this point in my journey but I can surmise that you can not tell if a restrained dog is good until you set it free or if a bird wishes to be with you whilst locked in a cage. There is greater joy when they are sett free and willingly return to us then when they come to us because we feed them through bars.

Oh yea true thinkers 'Let the games begin if you will'.

  • Did you know the rightful King of England is an Australian?

The throne can not go to an illegitimate child unless they wed someone who has a claim to the lineage. If you trace the currents Queen’s ancestry you will find a king of illegitimate birth married a woman who he though had a legitimate claim to the linage of Kings. History, confirmed by the appropriate authorities in England, shows that she was illegitimate also therefore his claim to the throne was illegal. The people in England who validate such issues have confirmed that the true claimant lives on a property in Victoria, Australia. The interesting twist is that he is a republican at heart.

With the money at stake I personally don’t believe he would be for this world long if he tried to pursue his claim. On a humorous note the Royal Christmas address from the palace could start with – ‘Right you lot, get your finger out this year so we can win the footy. Oh yeah, me Missus said I should wish you lot a Merry Christmas from the Palace Barbie”.

  • Does anyone remember when we walked to the left hand side of the footpath in the direction of travel?

and if we met friends who wanted to talk we step to the side so as not to block other pedestrians? I nearly go rundown by a baby boomer charging into the crowd with her siege weapon (shopping trolley)

  • Why do many atheists call it the God particle when they don't believe in God?

When they find it how will they explain that it came into existence or will they expect me to believe it has always been and will always be.

  • Why do some Christians say that Jesus is God?

He never claimed it but did say he didn't know when the end was coming as only God knew that. He also prayed to God asking for the burden of his mission be taken from him. He comitted his spirit to God.

  • Freedom of Speech and Expression or Freedom to Abuse?

So far it would appear that freedom means a more self centered approach with a comment about being free to say what you like. So the question is growing in the direction of is reporting a lie or unconfirmed fact freedom of speech and expression or Freedom to abuse?

  • What do you mean by freedom?

I read much of the right to freedom of expression, freedom of the press and freedom of speech but see little to show an understanding of these freedoms. It is well past time that men and women considered these freedoms and removed their defining from the hands of the politically correct and the ‘legal technicocrats’. Technically legal is not necessarily morally right. Give them back the meaning that our forefathers gave them.
