What the heck is Illuminati?

A group of rich people who plan to kill the majority of the population in world so they can be like Gods with their high tech stuff that lets them live forever the few people who survive will be their slaves

Basically there was a fraction of radical people in England that caused a bunch of trouble in the 1750's. They opposed the Freemasons and were basically an Anti-masonic group for about 7 years and then they lost their steam and disbanded. They were not satanists or anything sensational like you see on Youtube. They were guys of lesser moral Character that got booted out of the Masons for bad conduct and then in retaliation, started this short campaign. The new idea of the Illuminati is that there is some kind of ultra secret Satanic group of people that consist of all the most powerful and rich in the world. Apparently, they are the puppet masters. The truth is, there is no official organization called the Illuminati, there are a few little groups out there that call themselves that, but they have no connection to the original group. The Freemasons had nothing to do with them, and now the popular conspiracy theory is that the Illuminati exist both within and outside the fraternity of Freemasonry, again as some kind of puppet masters that are leading us all into some New World Order. Apparently is is such a secret, that even us Masons are not aware of the infiltration. Opps, I gave it away, Ok yes Im a Freemason. OOOOOOO! Put away the crosses people, please and extinguish the torches for a sec?? Man this internet is not a friendly place for Freemasons, especially with all the clap trap on Youtube and the supposed end of the world. Dont listen to the crazies here, and if you have interest in the history of the Freemasons, look up a lodge near you and give them a call and ask them a few questions. They may have a library there that you can check out. Also, the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry has a wealth of information and knowledge on those subjects. I only offer that information because you asked about the Illuminati, and in this internet climate, you are bound to see the Freemasons associated with them. They are not and never were. The Illuminati is said to be a group of individuals that control, and run the entire world. These selected men and women are the chosen elite from all over the world in search of power and control of how it's ran. From basic research, anyone can piece the puzzle together and see the possibility of it being true, starting a far way back up until now.

This theory on them fall all the way back to these things, and how they've been running things since ancient times. (if one chooses to comprehend the possibility). A good book I read about the Illuminati was, A complete guide to global conspiracy, by David Icke. This book has literally everything from inner self, all the way to president Obama. Very interesting nonetheless. Again, if people are willing to open up and believe, the truth is out there no matter how much we want to disagree with it.
