Wasn't princess Diana married? How could she have had a relationship with Dodi Al Fayed?
I don't understand this whole conspiracy thing. If she was married to Prince Charles..how could she have an open relationship or "fling" with Dodi? Can someone please explain this to me?
To the people who don't think I understand what the concept of marriage is..I do (no pun intended). I didn't fully understand her relationship with the prince. I'm not "sheltered", it was a simple question. I've never heard of someone having an open relationship WHILE they're still married to someone else. Anyway, thank you to everyone else who cleared things up.

Diana and Charles were divorced by the time she had her brief involvement with Dodi Fayed.
However, she did have affairs with other men before her divorce became final in 1996. Given that Charles was involved with Camilla Parker Bowles and he and Diana were officially separated for some time, she had that right. The only problem is that she was involved with a couple of married men, rather hypocritically, given that she'd publicly (and justifiably) complained about Charles's affair with Camilla.

Princess Diana had divorced Prince Charles by the time she got around [to] Dodi Fayed. but even when she was still married, she played the field. Prince Harry is the smoking gun.
As to how she could have a relationship with Dodi Fayed, the answer is that she had poor judgement. The conspiracy theory says that the establishment was unhappy that the mother of a future king was being so generous with her love and decided that it had to stop. Whether you believe it or not is a matter of personal choice.

Princess Diana wasn't married, not at the time of her death.
In 1992 the separation between her and Prince Charles was announced, their divorce was finalized in 1996. She entered into a relationship with Dodi Al Fayed in July 1997, the month before the two died. Their relationship was public because at the time neither was married.
Before she was divorced, Diana had a private affair with James Hewitt while Charles had an affair with Camilla Parker Bowles, the now Duchess of Cornwall. These affairs were both conducted in relative secret - with the other partner either outright knowing or suspecting - before being revealed to the public. While Charles had had a relationship with Camilla prior to his marriage, it is reported that neither Charles nor Diana's affair(s) happened until after the births of the Diana and Charles' children.

Bad Diana believed in her possess immortality. You cant beat the organization and the royal loved ones will quickly in finding methods to put off embarrassments to them. Its been occurring for years throughout history. The only factor Diana did mistaken used to be now not seem within the reverse path when her husband was once searching for extra marital undertaking somewhere else. If she had she would still be alive at present. When will persons blame Charles and now not Diana, she used to be a younger and immature woman when she used to be taken into the royal loved ones, she believed in love and think the fairy story story. Lamentably Charles was once introduced up another way and if he wanted to sleep round, he would and did. Watch out Kate. I am with you Sheila.

1) Anyone can have an affair, it happens all the time
2) She didn't get around to marrying him on account of getting killed in a car accident.
@Sabeel: The newspapers were calling her a whore all the time but using different words which mean the same, then after they chased her and got her killed they were suddenly and hypocritically describing her as the princess of hearts, and claiming that everyone loved her and that we were all gutted, whereas most of us were really just cracking jokes about it.

Charles and Diana were divorced, quite some time before all this happened.

Yes indeed, dear Tishuana, one cannot quite fathom it oneself. Perhaps the Spencer woman was the first person in the whole wide world to be unfaithful to her spouse? It is quite possible.

just because someone is married doesn't stop them from being unfaithful. you must be very sheltered
