door lock stuck halfway (180 degrees)?
So I was messing around with the deadlock in my front door while the door was open, and after a while I picked it. When I moved the tension wrench, the keyhole turned the whole 180 degrees, but the deadbolt was still sticking out a bit. So from the inside I moved the deadlock to fully extend it again, yet it was locked in place. Now the key won't even enter the keyhole as the pins won't move at all. D: What do I do?
there is a solution other then switching this lock i know , but can anyone explain what happed and how to fix it?

you have to remove the lock from the door and reposition the tailpiece.
Don't spray anything on it, that will just make a mess. You take it off reposition the tailpiece, reassemble the lock to the bolt and the door. Do it with the deadbolt fully extended

You may have the inside knob In the out/lock position during assembly it may need to be in the
in/unlock position during assembly
try spraying some graphite in it.
then use the pick to realign the pins.
