Are painters and decorators crazy?

Some people love it - painting and decorating is just up their street. It all boils down to what flair one has developed during/since youth. I have friends who enjoy the practical side of things - DIY, motor mechanics, metal craft, etc while others who hate it instead are good at academic, desk-based tasks. We all have things we really, really love doing and things we really, really hate doing!

Have a colleague at work who often comes in on a Monday whistling and humming a song when he has done a full weekend of DIY!!

I don't mind painting but usually painters at building sites are always hype and talk a lot so they probably just talk there way through whilst painting to get it out of the way,

Bobwit oh Bobwit , you have no idea what it is like to use a good quality brush and paint .

You have probably used a cheap DIY paint and a brush that looks like a chisel .

Everyone to their own .

Not everyone feels the same as you about painting, it can give a great sense of achievement when you see the finished room and that can be a reward in itself.

Haha I've been doing for years, I enjoy it and make a good living from it to.
