A question for running enthusiasts?

Ok so my body doesn't do too well with certain exercises, I tend to gain a lot more weight when I weight train or do lots of cardio. At first I thought it was muscle but found out it wasn't. I am pretty strict with my diet and careful about what I eat,I'm also vegan. I love running but I haven't done it in awhile. Do you think it will cause my weight to skyrocket again?

Thanks!

Your weight may go up but it will be muscle. Make sure you get a lot of carbs before you work out and protein after. I use a banana creme flavored protein powder mixed with orange juice; it tastes like an orange julius. You can mix it with any liguid.

I lost 30 pounds in four months using the combo of hiking, walking, and mountain climbing (without ropes). I did an average of about 5 miles per day, almost every day until my goal was achieved. All the activity seemed to curb my apetite.
