Why should we need to dear for our soul?

Did that work when you were a kid?

"Dad, I know I stole Billy's bike, but you said you love me. So, don't punish me."

We don't get to define God. Would a good judge let off a man for murder, just because the judge is a loving judge? That judge must have a desire for justice. He must follow the laws set up for his court.

Have you ever stolen anything? Even a small thing? What does that make you? A thief.

Have you ever lied to anyone about anything? Of course you have. Now you are guilty of lying.

Have you ever used God's name in vain? Probably.

These are just 3 of the ten commandments.

If a just God were to judge you today, would you be guilty?

If so, then you should "fear for your soul".

A loving God would warn you. But you don't take warnings.
