*urgent* my dog got wet in cold weather?
It's 40 outside right now and my dog for some reason jumped in the pool, I am currently drying her off, but I don't know what to do. Will she be ok? she is a medium size Lab, and an outside dog.

If she's a Labrador Retriever, she was bred to retrieve birds from water in sub-arctic winters. She will be fine as long as you dry her properly.

Take her inside until she is dry, then she will be fine. Leaving her outside in cold temperatures while wet can cause hypothermia, which can kill her.

She should be fine , but I would lay her infront of a space heater with a blanket , if I could. let her play fetch first though, being active will warm her up as well

It's 40 degrees out, and you're letting your dog stay outside all day? SHAME! Get that dog dried off, and let her sleep INSIDE the warm house you and the rest of your family enjoy.

Dry her off and heat her up a little - she'll be fine. You might want to keep her indoors for tonight at least.
