Having Problems with HP Laptop, Runs Windows 8?

My sister has an HP Pavilion G6-2249WM laptop that she got a little over a month ago. It runs Windows 8, of course. She wasn't having any problems with it until Monday and some screen came up telling her that "your PC ran into a problem." She tried to elaborate on it but wasn't too good at it and said that she sent whatever the problems were to Microsoft and then tried to clean out her computer of anything that might've been causing this issue. So, it gets stuck at 27% for over four hours and in order to fix it, I had to reset her laptop to the factory state and she had to restart everything from scratch since she hadn't set a restore point for her laptop in case of said issue. Now, here we are a couple days later and it popped up again. Since doing what I did obviously didn't help, I thought I'd come to you guys. She wasn't trying to download or install anything either, she just woke up one morning and when she turned on her laptop, that's the screen she was greeted with. I took a screenshot of what's coming up on her laptop, if anybody could help me out, I'd be SO appreciative:

I'd recommend you to install a fresh copy of Windows 8. I know its kinda weird as you've bought a factory installed Windows laptop but this issue sounds a bit serious. So to avoid any of such problems in future, Install a fresh copy of Windows by wiping everything on HDD. I have recently bought HP Envy DV6 with Windows 8 installed. If i'd get this issue i'd surely install fresh copy on Windows 8.
