"Religious leaders aren't relevant today" Do you agree or disagree?

They are not "as relevant" as they were, say, twenty years ago. Religion, especially christianity, is losing membership. Abusive priests don't help.

I think the way the global media reacted to the Pope's abdication indicates that they are relevant.

I disagree. The God Yahweh and Jesus Christ are just as relevant today as they were the first day man was created by them.

anyone that denies the reasoning of educated men over the centuries and clings to a Bronze Age belief system having no evidence of its existence, should be shouted down at every opportunity

If these leaders do not involve themselves in politics or science and stick to what cannot be known, they should be held in esteem

Obviously there are a lot of people to whom their religious leaders are NOT irrelevant.

Religion is from the Down of the man kind and it going to stay until the END..

Only one is excepted by Allah , Al Mighty in heaven.
