How do I stop being Christian?

I called myself Christian since I was 12. For the past year I've tried very hard to actually be Christian: to fall in love with Jesus, read my Bible, serve my community, be in fellowship with Christians around me, etc. It's not working out. I am more isolated, sadder, less purposeful, and completely discouraged compared to what I was before. How do I 'un-see' the truth God has shown me about my life so I can go back to normal life? How do I leave without guilt?

there is danger in doing this. because you have known the Truth but you want to reject it, you are now in more danger. i think what you need is a new perspective. what type of attitude did you have while doing these things? because of Jesus, you have more purpose, not less! i think perhaps you're going through a trial or something... i don't know... has something happened that causes you to feel this way? do you feel that there's something missing? maybe you should think this through and talk to someone you trust. being a Christian is not supposed to be easy, so you can expect hard times. but if you've always felt this way upon believing, perhaps you should find the cause before leaving.

You are a wonderful specimen. You tasted the love of Jesus. But you seem to be friendless. It is not because you are a Christian. First take control of your life and your goals. God has set before you a goal he wants you to accomplish on earth. Don't lose sight of your goal anytime in your life. What do you want to achieve in life?

God gives a constant companion to every child of God. He is the Counselor, the Spirit of Truth. He is always with you as a constant companion. He never leaves you alone. You can converse with him whenever you wish to. He makes your life more meaningful by telling you what God wants to accomplish through you. He also stands by you strengthening you. When you accomplish the task God has given you, you become eligible to enter God's kingdom.

You can't leave without guilt unless you kill your conscience since it is your conscience that's giving you the guilt trip.

    How to kill your conscience?

Just stop caring about good and bad. Do whatever you feel like. Real soon you'll forget what guilt even is. You'll do whatever you want, and then there you go, you've scraped morality.

So now that you're done with Jesus's law, you have to get rid of Jesus. Basically, you just tell him off.

Oh, and you needn't tell anyone you did it. But I warn you, all the other Christians will notice regardless.

To become or be a Christian does not require work. It is a free gift of God to every one who receive Jesus Christ, the sinless Lamb of God. "Not of works" Eph. 2:8

To be a Christian does not mean to be happy or sad, rich or poor. Salvation is based on the truth of the promise of the Lord in the Gospels. "As many as received Him, Jesus, to them gave power to become the sons of God" John. 1:12 Do you believe that? Happy are you if you do. Then you are a child of God weather or not you are sad of glad

The only way primitive religion exists today is through the child abuse of forcing it into very, very young children but thanks to better education and growing intellects so many teens are able to discover the truth, throw off the indoctrination and step into the real world!

there is no right and wrong in religion, its your choice. if you believe you have seen the truth in some way, but it is not explained by christianity, you do not have to deny what you believe to follow a different religion. for example, jews, muslims and christians all worship one god, and believe that one god is the same to everybody regardless of their race, heritage, gender etc.etc. but think outside the box, research your beliefs and see if a religion fits you instead of forcing yourself into a religion. and to leave a religion without guilt may seem daunting, but if you believe in a god, then surely that god will watch over you whatever you chose, if you believe in god in your way, without the binds to a religion, you may feel more comfortable. i hope i helped.

Nobody can force you to believe in anything, not even yourself. If you actually believe in God and Jesus, you can't just suddenly stop. I became an atheist not because I wanted to, but because I realized I just didn't believe. Be honest with yourself. Follow whatever you believe, not what you want to believe.

Christianity is false, it is based on a myth.

No historically Jesus was not crusified.

There are no first hand eye witness historic reports of this happening. To be quite accurate there is no historic facts on jesus at all until after he died.

Read the article by answering christianity called ressurection hoax.

    http://answering-christianity.com/abdullah_smith/t...

this link shows how history and tonnes of other sources prove the ressurection a hoax.

Very few Christians know that Gentile historians NEVER mentioned the resurrection of Jesus. The Jewish philosopher Philo (50 CE) absolutely makes no reference to Jesus’ crucifixion. The Christians are embarrassed that Philo lived during Jesus’ lifetime and never mentioned his resurrection.

After the departure of Jesus, his teachings spread to North Africa and Egypt, but he was not popular or widely known.

The following Greek historian writers do not mention Jesus’ resurrection and they lived during Jesus's time:

    Philo-Judaeus

    Martial

    Arrian

    Appian

    Theon of Smyrna

    Lucanus

    Aulus Gellius

    Seneca

    Plutarch

    Apollonius

    Epictetus

    Silius Italicus

    Ptolemy

They all lived during Jesus's times and none of them mentioned the ressurection.

The only historic ressurection mentions are made by people who never met jesus all they do is mention "theres a rumour going around Jesus's ressurected". The ressurection is not a historic fact so Bible contains a historical error. Another historical error in the bible is they say theives are on the cross being crusified, if you know history you know during jesus's time they did not crusify theives. Another bible error.

This Athiest website also agrees that ressurection is false.

    http://godisimaginary.com/i15.htm

The false bible The Resurrection stories are full of contradictions.

    http://www.answering-christianity.com/contra_res.h...

Manyreligious historians say the ressurection was plagerised from Plato, osiris, Krishna Mithra all previous pagan gods. Akll this is found at the Pagan Library.

Don't even take the bible serious it says the earth is flat on pillars and does not move.

It is easy just stop believing the flase trinity.
