Can ikea really be told off for meatballs having horse meat?

I mean "meatballs " in itself doesn't describe what type of meat goes into them. If not they would be pig balls chicken balls etc.so it being called 'meat' wouldn't imply what type of meat has to go in ? It wouldn't really matter if horse was added its still a meat

Update:

Now they've removed the hotdogs :( that's the thingsi enjoy in ikea

It depends on the labelling. If they don't list any specific meat(s) on the packaging or on the ingredients list then its fine.

I agree. Its not like they have to list the ingrediant list. People are just over reacting in my opinion.... Horse meat is great and in many products on the market, and people dont realize. its not like ikea said "100% ground beef meat balls!"

Depends is horse meat is illegal in the country in which it was served. France for example will sell horse meat in the grocery store.
