Best type of coffee for DIY Homemade Kahlua?
I'm getting ready to make my own batch of Kahlua, well its not technically Kahlua since im using everclear or vodka, but its a similar coffee liquer.
Anyway, I was following the recipe here:

... and this recipe talks about Millstone Chocolate Velvet Coffee, and so do many of the comments
Has anyone tried it with multiple types of coffee and found a winner?
Some others I was looking at was the Mocha or Dark Chocolate Truffle coffees from Gevalia.

if you aren't going to get or can't get the coffees that are recommended then you can get your favorite brand of dark roast coffee & add chocolate.
but mainly you want a good quality dark roast (for it's rich flavor) & chocolate or a chocolate liqueur.
the chocolate flavored coffees just let you use fewer ingredients.
