My mother had a pair of earrings that she really liked, but lost one of them and is not trying to find a replacement pair.

They are 14k gold, and they're like a small hoop design (probably 3/4") that look like 3 individual hoops twisted together (even though they are all one piece / don't move)

She said she bought them at Macy's probably 10 years ago for around $100, but I know they wouldn't still have them and I've already checked.

I'm trying to find the exact same pair or something extremely close (nothing below 14k, but ill go up from there). I'm not sure exactly what to search for either, so if you have any tips of how to look that would help also.

* So both of these are similar and I have other ones like these also, but I'm more interested in finding out HOW to do them and the steps I should take. The answers themselves arent as important. I believe the first is just setting up the integral and the second is actually evaluating.

I have just over 50000 amex membership rewards points I want to spend. I want to get the most for my points. I dony really need to make any big purchases soon. I was thinking about the amex giftcard, but the only thing is that for 50k points you only get a $250 gc. Most other gc are 50k points for $500. Now home depot gift cards are selling online for like 87%, so should I get a $500 home depot gift card and sell it online for $435? Has anyone tried that before? If you can think of a way to get more than $435 let me know. Thanks!

I have a Technics SD-S2200 Stereo System. Its over 20 years old but great sound and no problems until now. I keep the system on the TV/VCR2 mode all the time and have my TV set to Variable Analog Audio Out as opposed to Fixed. So when I use my TV remote it changes the volume on the stereo system speakers.

Yesterday, out of nowhere the Stereo System changed itself to Tuner mode and started playing the radio. I turned it back to TV/VCR2 mode and noticed the sound is very quiet. But on any other mode like Tuner or Tape its at the normal level. When I change the TV mode to Fixed Analog Audio Out, it goes to the normal level. So for some reason the speakers/volume i very weak / quiet only on TV mode with Variable audio out. Why? How do I fix this?

I'm getting ready to make my own batch of Kahlua, well its not technically Kahlua since im using everclear or vodka, but its a similar coffee liquer.

Anyway, I was following the recipe here:

Has anyone tried it with multiple types of coffee and found a winner?

Some others I was looking at was the Mocha or Dark Chocolate Truffle coffees from Gevalia.

I know the answer is -1/(2(2 + x)) but idk how to get it. I've tried it a few times and don't get that answer

Looking at 2 Infiniti G35 coupes:

Should I get gray or black? Is the gray a good color for a guy?

I drove 150+ hours with my LP for 9 months and have had my license for 3 months and drive every day. I have been using the family minivan for the last 3 months and I really hate it. I know im lucky to even be allowed to drive, but anyway... I work 22+ hours every week so I make enough to pay for gas, insurance (which i pay now), a $300 car payment, and still have enough to put some away in savings. Right now I have about $2500 from 6 months of saving. I am looking at buying a 2004 Infiniti G35 coupe that is for sale for $10,000. My mom has agreed to pay for $2500 plus the taxes/tags for it. So I have used a loan calculator and found out that I can pay off $5000 by next June or July, when I turn 18. I only drive like 50 miles a week and will still pay the insurance every month (I know it will go up, I would still have full coverage on the car, just in case I were to get in an accident). I have done a lot of research, probably over 50 hours if its all added together, and I think this is my most solid decision. All of this being said, do you think this is a good, responsible plan?

I have to write a short essay for my AP World History class. here is the question:

Why is democracy (the 19th century ideal government) being challenged/replaced by more authoritarian governments in the 1920's?

Im not asking for someone to write my essay for me just some ideas or small outline of what/how i could write it. We covered Italy (Mussolini/fascism), Mexico (mexican revolutions), US (Great Depression), Japan, Russia (Bolsheviks, Lenin, Stalin), and China (Yuan Shukai, Sun Yat-sen, Marxists). So anything dealing with these could be in the essay. And again the teacher said this was supposed to be a very short essay 1-2 pages so no need for tons. Thanks :)

Im a guy and i went to the mall today and tried on stuff at hollister and I was a large t shirt. I wanted to order some aeropostale stuff online so Im wondering if I would be a large in Aeropostale stuff too?? The hollister size chart says Large is 40-42 and Aero says Medium is 40-42, Large is 43-45, and XL is 46-48. So I was thinking medium would be perfect, buuuuut when I started to look at other answers some said aero is smaller, some said bigger, and some said same as hollister. But these were a couple years old. So does anyone know what size I should recommend? I mean i used to be XL hollister but lost some weight and now a L. So im thinking XL is out for Aero just have to decide M or L. Oh and I included AE too but they have the same size chart as Aero so Im guessing it would be the same. Is shrinkage a factor? Hollister shrinks just enough for me. Thanks and please answer fast :)

Im going to get my phone in like 8 hours. I am on sprint and stuck between the 3D and the Epic Touch. I really like both. I was extremely set towards on the 3D before I walked in the store but the guy kept refuting my reasons why i liked it...it almost seemed like he worked undercover for samsung or something lol. So he got really annoying so i left so Im going back tomorro (well actually today its like 2am now or something). I am seeking anyone's opinion but please please give me reasons or i wont consider your points. 10 points to person who gives me best reasons and i get that phone. Here is what I know I like now:

HTC Sense on the 3D. also with sense you have a couple cool features if you misplace your phone a lot and always keep it on vibrate so you can never find it (like me) where you go online and it will make it ring whether its on silent/vibrate or not and you can see its location.

I am not too concerned with the suggested (idk how true) issues with 3D call quality but i only make like 5 or 10 calls a month. More important to me is data, which i heard 3D is better but then i hear other people say the epic is faster and better everywhere, but its hard to tell from bias and idk

I thought that the 3D was mainly built around being 3D that the camera and video would be spectacular on all aspects but only 5mp and 720p is a little disappointing,

I need something durable. The Epic Touch seemed too light and cheap which doesnt sound good for someone who drops their phone all the time. Which phone is more durable? i would definitely get a case for either one i guess.

I also will probably want to root my phone. I will mostly use just the extra apps nothing major like flashing roms and stuff.

I mostly use apps/games, text, surf web, and want something fun.

I am in the Business Club we have at our school and mostly what we do is fundraisers and then sue all the money to help pay for a trip at the end of the year. This year we want to do a NYC Wall St etc trip but that is about $500 per person and a min of 40 people so we need a lot of fundraising we want to lower the cost so more people are able to go. We need fundraisers where we do/make the majority of the service/product. An example is custom candy bars: We buy a bulk order of candy bars, the ones wrapped in foil, and then create & print our own custom covers and put them on OR Custom/Tie Die Shirts; things like that. Something we do NOT want is one of those 'take a form and go sell stuff door to door' like cookie dough or candles. We want something where we have to do all of the creativity, design, making, marketing, etc ourselves. So hopefully you kinda can see the business aspect of all this. BUT, we need some more ideas for fundraisers. I'm not asking for complete plans for fundraisers, but shoot me some brief ideas so we can think of lots of things. Thanks

Me and 6 other friends were planning on going to Ocean City, MD (i live in MD) for about a week and the only problem is that we will all be 17. If I were to get a fake ID that showed i was 18 would this work? Do they scan the id or something? or do they just look at it? Please no bulls**t about fake ids being illegal... Im not doing this to get cigarettes or anything just trying to get some hotel rooms, and I cant stand cigarettes anyway, but thats besides the point. So would this work? What if the ID didnt have a hologram? If we go to more of a sketchy motel would I have a better chance? Thanks. (oh and just in case, this is all hypothetical)

The divorce is between a 40-something Man and his 40-something Wife. They have 2 children (11 and 16, both prefer mother). The mother takes care of the children 95% of the time and makes $90000. That would seem like a lot but its barely any because the husband doesn't have a real job and hasn't had one for probably 20 years except for one $15/hr job that lasted only 2 years, so the wife has to work 50 hours a week and still is the only parent that does stuff with the children. All he does is side jobs that only make him like $100 to $200 a week. He stays out late drinking sometimes and drinks almost every day (even if its just 2 beers). His side of the family treats her horribly. Not to mention the husband is close to just plain stupid. If it wasnt for the mother, the kids would be homeless.

CARS: the family has 4 cars. One of them is 10 years old that was bought by the wife for $18k is 2005 and another one that is 4 years old that was bought last year by the wife for $27k (she made/makes all payments). The truck is 20 years old and the wife helped pay for it ($1k). The only car the husband payed for was a 17 year old van that cost $600.

HOUSE: The house was bought in 2000 for $190k. The wife makes all payments. It is now valued at about $300k.

The only other semi-expensive things are classified as furniture (TVs, sofas, computers, etc) and were all payed for by wife.

Questions: Does the wife have to worry about losing anything? If so, what? Is there any other advice you would give to the wife?

I just bought a white rubber neff daily watch from zumiez and it says to take to the protective plastic off of the bracelet part. But it doesn't want to come off. I've been trying to peel it off for over an hour but only got a liitle off. What can I do to try to clean all this stuff off? Also, in the future when it gets dirty, how should I clean it? What do they mean by a "mild detergent"? Thanks

I will be in Oxnard, CA in about a week and I am just wondering which / where are the best beaches near there. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children (12 & 16). We want something that isnt practically deserted but not too overcrowded. Family oriented. Also, most of the "family" type beaches I have read about say small waves. I dont really know exactly what that means but we like to have some waves as long as they arent too big. Like big enough to use boogie boards but I dont want to get into "surfing" areas. Any suggestions?

Is it worth a 30 min drive to go to Zuma beach? I heard its very clean and well rounded. Also, lifeguards are preferred. Harbor Cove Beach? San Buenaventura Beach? thanks

I know you technically cant actually own a website, its really more of a lease, but thats not my point. There is someone who wants to let me take over their site and I was wondering how I could do this. I want everything to stay the same on the site but just billed to me and have myself being the primary person in charge. Is this possible? Hos do you go about doing this? If someone sells/transfers a site will all the content be deleted?

My high school has what they call academies for the different types of career interests:

AHC - basically fine arts, music, art, design...

HHSS - human services, fireman, police, nurse, ...

STEM - science, tech, engineering, and math stuff

BIM - business, information management

I am in the BIM academy and I was just wondering what are some things we could do so its more than just a title. Like I know one time they went to a business and kind of got a real perspective of how things are run. What other types of things could we do? I was looking at the "future business leaders of america" club and we dont have that at our school but it looks interesting. Does anybody know what things they do in that club? Or if you just have any ideas for business/ Info mgmt intersted students I could use any ideas. thanks. I heard its a lot about competitions between other schools about business type stuff but it doesnt even have to be that. and thats all we have. Also I say 16 yo when actually he turns 16 on July 4th while we're there idk if that strikes any ideas. We werent really going to do anything special for his birthday unless you have a good idea. But yeah I am wondering what other things are a must-do in only 3 full days?? thanks.
