Help with caring for potted plants?
Okay, so thing is, my dad's OBSESSED with plants and recently he had to go back to korea, his home country, for some work- where he's going to be gone for a LONG time. And so, he left me in care of his 11 little babies until he gets back. Lol. He left me with a lot of instructions on how to water them, but I'm still confused and I have no clue how to care for plants. I always kill my flowers ;^;
I honestly love plants as much as he does, but I don't know a single thing about caring for them. I tried to research the concept, but I still don't understand much...
I'll try to name the plants based on my research, I'm guessing though. So I have:
- 2 bamboo plants (which I think I can care for. Watering them is pretty easy because its not often, but info on them would be nice!)
- 4 Pothos (These I find the hardest to water...)
- 1 Croton
- 1 Dracaena (I'm not sure if this is the plant, but it looks similar.)
- 1 Snake Plant (This one I'm really not sure about, but my plant looks nearly the same, except not as yellow.
- 1 Aloe Vera
- 1 Small, common flower plant (Not sure what species...)
So, those are the plants I have, or at least ones close to them. I'm not sure how to water them really... I heard you're supposed to at least water them around 3/4, maybe more, into the pot, and do it again. I'm not sure though and I'm afraid I'll over-water them and kill them all. I really need help with this, I really don't want to kill my dad's precious plants ;~;
Oh, yeah. And other tips would be great to! Like, what do plants enjoy? I heard they love to listen to music, lol, so I usually leave the radio on for them owo. But, I mainly need help on watering- excruciating help, any help is welcome though! Thanks for the help!

Clicking on A-Z will take you to all your plants.
Dracaena is by Dragon Tree Plant, Corn Plant and Janet Craig, and other plants.
Under cactus and succulents you will find
Aloe Vera and The Snake Plant under Mother-in Laws Tongue.

Leaves need to breath.Striking oil on them won't let them breath, and neither will the dirt. I some occasions put mine in the bathe, but if you happen to cannot try this are attempting alittle milk and water. Feel it or not, it'll no longer only easy them however shine them also.

I water all my plants on Saturday. I give them all the water they can drink then. If you look at nature plants don't get watered more then once a week on average. BTW: over watering kills most houseplants.
