Why is he acting this way?

We're pretty much friends. Yet he's giving off odd signals. So basically the other day I was looking downwards and he touched my hair I honestly didn't react because I didn't know how too. Today he talked about a text I sent him a week ago that he never responded too, yes, we text not that means anything.

So he was like "So have you had a boyfriend before?" I obviously said no and asked him and he said he had a girlfriend when he was twelve, cough cough. And that his father would probably be happy if he brang a girl home because it meant he would have gotten over her or something crazy like that.

It was awkward the other day when he asked me if I went to the gym and I was like noo. He said he figured and after a moments of silence he was like "Not that you're fat or anything." That was odd. Anyway I suppose he likes me as a friend what do you guys think. I should probably add he keeps on talking about how much we have in common and won't stop complimenting me and trying to get me to admit stuff. We are both 16 :)

It seems that he may have a bit of a crush on you and the awkwardness in some of the things he says is probrably because he is new to this kind of a situation so he is making small talk proding to see if you also like him.

Everything you said is a sign that he is falling for you! Asking personal things like 'Have you ever had a boyfriend?' are an easy example. Why else would he want to know this? He might have a little crush, but if you don't like him back, I think you should let him know. You don't want this to ruin the good friendship you both have if the feelings aren't mutual!

I hope this helps! Good luck!
