Every company and oil is different. Different additives in the oil. I doubt Walmart pops open a bottle of penzoil and pours it in to there bottle. Just different additives rely. Just remember you get what you pay for is what I say. Personally I am not a penzoil fan either. Just by what I have seen pulling some penzoil motors apart, its almost as the oil burns on to the block and parts inside the engine and cakes on. When pulling apart I literally had to take a scraper of some sort and scrape the gunk off.

Hello, No that is against the law ! Whatever type oil they use has to in the proper container. Most oil change companies buy in bulk, ie; 55 gallon drums. Ask them what type they use before the service. I never use there oil, always bring my own and watch them add it to my vehicles. I only use Castrol oil. It has proven to hold up between changes without break down !! Hope this helps you? Good luck !

Wal Mart oil is produced by Quaker State.

the only requirement is to apply oil that meets the specs on your vehicle. look on your proprietor's handbook. I continuously advise guy made oil. It does not smash down like generally happening so it lasts longer. it fairly is been formulated to lubricate extra thoroughly and calmly than generally happening oils, making your engine final longer and run extra effectively. And maximum severely, use a high quality oil filter out, no longer one in all those from Wal Mart or the common filter out on the oil substitute joint.

These oils have markers in them so they can be identified and not legally copied. Retailers like WM and others get oils mixed as per their specs and price parameters then but their own brand on it, which is all legit.

sure, most all the store brands, not just walmart are actually well known brands manufactured by brand name suppliers and slapped with a store brand name... this goes for anything from food to drugs...

Then they are distributed as store brands.
