Do you think that not believing in God justifies an eternity of punishment?

If a person lead a good life, does nice things for all around him, gives to charity, honors his parents and so forth, is he deserving of eternal punishment just because he doesn't believe?

To deny someone hapiness just because they won't sing hosannas in God's name makes his appear petty and needy.

Surely he would care more about how we treat each other than how loudly we can shout the Lord's Prayer?

I honestly do not believe anything deserves an eternity of punishment. People may scoff when I say rapists and murderers don't even deserve to be tortured forever, but I don't think most people realize just how long forever is. Thank goodness there is no evidence for such a barbaric system of justice.

    Definitely.

All newborn children that die through whatever cause should clearly burn for eternity because they don't understand the concept of a deity. And all the young children that die in third world countries from famine or natural disasters should obviously burn, too, simply because they were never taught to think about such a being, or were raising to believe in a different one than other people.

    Religion is a disease.

Since Jehovah is the Almighty God who created us He has the right to tell his creation how to live and that is not hard or burdensome. Just doing nice things is not all there is in believing in God, but fortunately for you there is not a forever burning in hell place, but there is death without the hope of resurrection. God is not needy but when you do something or give a gift to someone dont they say thank you same as God He gave us the gift of life and why shouldnt we show him gratitude. When things go wrong many people who dont believe in God, He is the first person they call on, why not depend on him all the time. Go to www.jw.org and search around a little maybe something will interest you.

If someone leads to Hell, it truly is because of that man or woman's possibilities, not their beliefs. God would not a lot care about no matter if you think the proposition that "God exists" is real (for, "even the demons believe, and they shudder"). God ought to get rid of Hell and produce everyone to Heaven, even though it truly is because He respects peoples *possibilities* that He would not. If He did that, then He should be forcing human beings hostile to their will. So it really is purely a free-will situation. No, you should use the Bible to reveal what the Christian view on Hell is. What you won't be able to do is detect the Bible to reveal that the Christian view is real.

That according to you, Now look at it from the whole worlds point of view, 7 billion people and every one will say his right.

God has a law and today we can't live by it as we have become weak in our faith's etc,

what once was a sin is now a right(ie adultry, drinking, etc etc)

The law of God was to worship and believe in him and him alone,

If you have no belief in him then why worry about the punishment?

The whole concept of hell and heaven is from faith isn't it?

The truth is their in front of every one face yet we chose to deny is as its keep us in our ignorance and on the Devils path,

The punishment given is about sin. Sin is imputed to all of those born after Adam. All are sinners and therefore the punishment is for their sin. According to God, NONE have lead or will lead a "good" life.

Who is God but who you learn of and choose to believe elementally in.Are you an animal or a spiritual being is the first approach to the answer.Have you understood that you in essence are like God and can become one with God?Can you master the thoughts of desire and ego which placed you outside your self in worlds of shadow and separation? Why do you not think for you instead of second guessing your own creation subjected to what elements you empower that with?Love God with all your heart of being and mind where your intelligence is and with all your strength in your body and mind and love your neighbour as yourself. No religion. No nation and only truth to guide you.Research the Christ of love and light. The Christ you use in your question is the created man of law and religion however his teachings cannot be straitjacketed into their dogmatic doctrines which makes you believe your outside their circles of condemnation instead of compassion but in reality are your possession.Whisper the Our Father within and seek the truth in that thought with patience and love.

If he existed then I agree he would mind more about the way we conduct ourselves than the worship 'me' bit.

But he doesn't, so there will be no punishment for going through life saying so.

Punishment is not necessarily eternal and can be for a duration of time until the person is "purified"of their sins. Some may stay eternally.

As for being good, the biggest sin is to associate partners with Allah, i,e to you worship someone else instead of him.
