Hard time breathing when I'm in a pool?

I'm a healthy 15 year old boy and every time I go in a pool and I put my body in the water up to my chest, I feel like a lot of pressure on my lungs and I have to take bigger breathes. Is this normal? Please help?!

Sometimes when there's too much pressure on your chest, or the water is too deep it makes it harder for you to take deep or normal breaths. I would suggest not going into water that comes up to your chest or neck. It is normal, a lot of people have problems breathing simply when the water is too high up on their bodies- just take it slow. Maybe start at the waist and move up!
