How do I chill out my stress level?
My boyfriend's one week trip is being extended for 3 more days.
I was ridiculously excited to have him coming home to us tomorrow&am now let down.
I am at home taking care of his two children from previous marriages.
We are a family, but earlier I had such... a.... like an anger-attack.
A temper tantrum on the inside without being all childish on the outside.
It is selfish of me, of course, but at the moment I want nothing to do with taking care of his kids. Not because of anything wrong with them but because I have no desire to be cook, chauffeur, babysitter, and person that lazy moms know will be taking care of their child 24/7 in place of them.
I want to hide in a hole and ignore the world for a week or two.
Obviously, these are emotions of mine that are a bit young & a bit stupid.
What are good ways in which to get them away or released so as to no longer feel like ripping everyone's heads off...?

Try exercise, I know it sounds cliche' but it works. Also try natural remedies that can allow you to relax, you'd be surprised at how many herbal medicine there is out there. Some stresses are caused by lack of expression of your emotions, not to say that you should throw a tantrum but maybe there is lack of communication with the people you are associated with

That sounds like quite a bit of work and stress. It sounds like you should be taking a trip with your boyfriend. Have you thought about taking a family trip together? Or just the two of you? There are commercials all the time for Sandals or Beaches resorts that are awesome to go to. Or you could ask a travel agent. The Velvet Group is a good agency that specializes in couples. And they're free! I usually get away every 4 months or so and when I get back I feel SO much better. Plus, you guys get the opportunity to have some nice quality time together.

Take some deep breaths. Sit down and think about how happy you will be when your bf gets home. Listen to your song. Think about the good times that you have had with him. Take a bubble bath. Count your blessings.
