This or That (Boys and Girls Names)?

Girls

Serena or Ella

-In terms of actual names I prefer Ella, but as it becomes increasingly popular it is not a very original name choice anymore. Serena is very pretty and definitely a lovely name, so for the popularity reason I'm going to go for Serena.

Vienna or Vivienne

-Vivienne. Though I'm not massively keen on the name, I think it sounds better than Vienna as I'm not massively fond of place names as baby names.

Rose or Eleanor

-Eleanor. Not only is it beautiful but it reminds me of Eleanor Roosevelt, a strong woman in history. Eleanor Rose would sound lovely.

Natasha or Anastasia

-This is quite hard. Natasha sounds like a ballerina and is just gorgeous, but Anastasia reminds me of an old day princess. For pratical reasons, probably Natasha.

Ariana or Athena

-Athena. Though I love Ariana, I am slightly partial to Athena due to a love for Greek mythology. Athena is the goddess of wisdom.

Dakota or Penelope

-Penelope would probably come out tops, even though it sounds a little flamboyant. Despite this, a worthy baby name contender. I don't like the name Dakota as much, but you could have lots of fun coming uo with nicknames.

Zanna or Zofia

-Zanna.

Boys:

Liam or Luca

-Liam, but I don't like it much. If it were Luke against Liam then it would be Luke anyday.

Noel or Nathan

-Nathan. Noel sounds a little bit too floaty and flaky.

Madison or Mackenzie

-Mackenzie, as it sounds more masculine. I'm not really fond of eather name and as they both sound like girls names I don't think they should be given to boys.

Benjamin or Gabriel-

Benjamin. Gabriel, though nice, can often cause confusion in the playground- cue little Gabriel with long hair, getting called a girl.

Noah or Mason

-Noah. I don't like the name Mason.

Remington or Sasha

-I wouldn't name a boy either of these names, but if I had to choose, maybe Remington because then it could be shortened, but Sasha would probably be better as an actual name. I would personally avoid both. Instead, how about Remy or Remus?

Landon or Oliver

-Oliver. Oliver is lovely and I don't like the name Landon.
