If you want your beliefs to be true, do you have to have good reasons leading to your beliefs?

Or will you end up with the truth just by believing whatever you want, with no reasons?

Belief can be based on anything. You can't make something true just by believing it.

You can't mix knowledge and facts with belief either. A fact doesn't stop being a fact if you don't believe it is a fact.

    Yes!

The way you lead to truth. You ask questions about what you like to know. You read answers and if any more questions come to mind from the questions you ask, than you make more questions. Learning is never ending.

Ask questions, look for proof, sources, and sometimes it is okay to trust instinct long as you do so carefully. Look at the empirical evidence of science is a good reason to believe in what we already know as human beings.

Just because you believe something does not make it truth. I can believe that you are an oriental person, but that does not make it true. Our beliefs should be based on factual evidence, not feelings. Even in the bible the word faith is defined as " the evident demonstration of realities though not beheld" ( hebrews 11:1) It takes evidence to have faith and believe in something. We have evidence that the sun has continuously rose everyday. That evidence has given us faith or belief that it will rise tomorrow. True beliefs are based on sound reliable evidence.

This sounds suspiciously like a 'pro-lotto-ticket argument'

All beliefs are true. You can believe whatever you choose to believe and base those beliefs on whatever you choose to base them on.
