How can I lose 50 pounds in a year?
Hi everyone! I'm 14 years old, 5'2 and 154 pounds and absolutely tired of being my size. I know that I'm pretty overweight and I hate it. I want to lose 50 pounds to feel better and be healthier.
How can I reach that goal? What excercises could I do? How can I eat healthier and keep being motivated?
I know it's not going to happen overnight, I need/want to work hard for it.
Thanks in advance.
:)

Calories in and out is a failed approach and makes you feel deprived, leads to binges and yo yo diets. Instead cut out all grains and gluten, wheat, processed foods and heavy carbs. Adopt a low carb high fat diet that is completely free of grains and processed foods.
By doing this you will eliminate addictive and inflammatory foods and the foods that actually make you fat. You will be eliminating the foods we did not evolve to eat despite what the carb junkies of this site and fad diets (biggest fad if us govts food pyramid) have to say.
Eat high healthy fats (they don't make you fat the carbs do), proteins and low to lowish carbs. Check out marksdailyapple.com's how to succeed with the primal blueprint and go to chow and dessert stalker for recipes. That or google primal/paleo recipes for your favorite foods.
Weight loss is more than 80 percent determined by what you eat so do this. This makes it very easy to lose and maintain. You don't need to do more than walk everyday. Aim for 5+ miles. Besides that do a hiit session for 10-20 minutes just once a week. If you want to tone up, get ballet body from leah sarago (all 4 dvds) and do them in the beginner way she tells you to on her site.
