Will people bent on commiting Evil and Crime continue to commit Crime and Evil regardless of?

Will people bent on asking asinine and boring question keep asking them?

Guns have prevented more crime than have been used in crime. A study was done that shows many crimes are stopped by mere presentation of a firearm. Might be less than 1% of Americans stopping a crime themselves per year? But, that's a massive number over 2 million. Nor the same 2 million every year. Nor is each American going to go out a brag about it.

And it's not just murder that's stopped by a potential victim of crime with a gun.

Which means you may never meet an American who drew a gun and stopped a crime? But, that only means we are a modest people. And you did not ask.

Yes, folks bent on evil will not stop because of gun laws. Gun laws do stop their victims from barring the criminal from his evil work.

Yes. Criminals don't care about laws. They laugh at them, makes it easier for them. The good law abiding citizen who was forced to give up his guns to the police will not have a gun to defend himself from criminals.

These new gun proposals are "feel good" laws. They won't do jack to really curb gun violence. Unfortunately logic and factual information take a back seat to emotion in many people's minds. It's all teddy bears and rainbows to them, but they are actually causing much greater harm than good. They are mislead and repressed children fresh from the mold of mass media.

That's why they are called criminals and their acts are so despicable. They have no regard for human life or laws. They will hurt or kill people by any means to achieve the ends they desire. If you take away guns, they will use bombs, bats, knives, or cars. You take those away, they will resort to something else. Their mind is twisted and many are good at hiding their true nature.

Since criminals give a rats butt about the law, more legislation and gun control won't deter them a bit! :)

It's in animal nature... and knives are just so easily available, and pyschopath killers are just so popular on tv....Yup people are gonna commit crimes regardless of the laws

I believe so. Just think that Yahoo answers has simple common sense rules and people continue to break them.....no, they don`t get the death penalty nor get jail time,but breaking simple rules that are reasonable tells me about their basic character to disregard instructions.
