small lump on upper thigh near groin?

I have recently discovered a small lump on my upper thigh i was wondering if it could be a swollen lymph node or even something more serious as a hernia i dont know what it is but its located in the femoral region were someone would get a hernia only thing is that this lump is so tiny its not visible i had to feel around to find it but its definitely there it doesn't really hurt at all im just scared of what it could be also i do alot of heavy weight lifting but ive never had any problems, also im not sure if it is a swollen lymph node because i read those appear when you have an infection of some kind and i do get cysts in my groin area close to the swollen part on my thigh so im just not sure what it is can anyone help me?

    See your doctor for an examination. Always have an expert assess palpable lymph nodes. Don't wait too long.

    Doctor, asap. Seems like you've infections desiring to be sorted out before they spread further and if they're bad bugs it's certainly principal to discontinue them. That baseball sized lump could be contaminated lymph node and you do not need it to become an open abscess.
