Why are we still pretending that we have freedom of speech under the Obama regime?

If you have to be warned about being careful with what you say because the government is watching how can we say that we have freedom of speech?

"Attorney Kristen Mathews warns to be careful with what you say on social media platforms.

She has concerns the government is pushing the limits of what has historically been considered private.

"There are laws that regulate the government's ability to get a hold of things like credit card transaction history. But those laws have become more permissive in the last several years, particularly after 9-11, and so some might say those laws are no longer in line with the average expectation of privacy," says Mathews."

It is not just Obama.  Many Republicans are guilty of passing laws that have infringed on our liberty as well.  See Patriot Act.  Bush/Republicans and Obama/Democrats.

Currently "free speech" is limited by political correctness more then Obama. However Obama's administration is monitoring peoples email, prints and verbally stated. Freedom of speech is threaten under Obama. And will be lost when he acts upon the info gathered from the monitoring.

And where have you been for the past 30 years at least. This has not been a strictly Obama thing, our civil rights in general have been eroding the past 30 years, 911 just elevated it and it hasn't changed.

lol... you're still free to say anything you want... but if you're talking about committing a crime... that could be used against you in a trial for that crime...

but you're still not going to jail for saying it... but for committing the crime in the first place... your speech is just the evidence against you...

cops have been using facebook for a while now... people go on there and brag about crimes and they the cops go arrest them... lol... this has nothing to do with free speech though
