Well, yeah, kinda-sorta....but then again, when you really think about it, nah not really.

If I were a psychiatrist or psychologist or a sociologist, it would make some sense to hold this point of view.

But if I were a dentist, I would define people as a a series of teeth.

If I were an orthopedist, I'd define them as a series of bones and joints.

If a furrier, I'd see them as places to hang the pelts of beaver, mink, rabbit, fox, etc.

If an economist, I'd see them as tiny little engines that make the economy go.

If a comedian, I'd see them as units of humor.

So....................DOESN'T IT ALL DEPEND ON YOUR POV? Why would anyone in the entire freaking world want or need to define "people"? I've never heard of this topic coming up at a cocktail party, or any disagreement over it! Any 3 year old who understands the difference between "a thing" and "more than one thing" would be able to give you a definition of "people".

My thing is: why is it spelled that way, instead of "peepull"?

You can define people any way you like, a series of eyeblinks for example. How you define people says more about your view on life than about other people. If you define people as a series of relationships, it says that relationships are very important to you. What kind of relationships are you counting? That says more. How we think determines how we see our world. If you are unhappy, change your perspective. If you are happy, keep it.

An interpersonal relationship is an association between two or more people that may range in duration from brief to enduring. This association may be based on inference, love, solidarity, regular business interactions, or some other type of social commitment. Interpersonal relationships are formed in the context of social, cultural and other influences. The context can vary from family or kinship relations, friendship, marriage, relations with associates, work, clubs, neighborhoods, and places of worship. They may be regulated by law, custom, or mutual agreement, and are the basis of social groups and society as a whole.

    Yes.

There are different types of people. Among them also there are various kinds and categories.

If a person laughs too much even at stupid things, he is lonely deep inside.

If a person sleeps too much, he is sad.

If a person speaks less but speaks fast, he keeps lot of secrets.

If a person cannot cry, he is considered weak.

If someone eats in an abnormal way and snores while sleeping, he is either tense or rejoicing.

If someone cries in little things, he is innocent and softhearted.

If someone becomes angry on flimsy grounds, it means, he needs Love and good relationship.

So try to understand different people. It depends on their nature.

People are defined in a network of relationships, defined and redefined and redefining. We all change/transform and are changed as the time of our lives unfold before us.

People who define themselves through other people are going to run into trouble!

Anyone can be defined, as long as the silliness, and futility of the effort is understood.
