Is it OK for George Carlin to, sort of, sum me up for all yoo-hoo Yahoo Answering Wizards, Swamis and Gurus? It is with me... I'm a modern man, digital and smoke-free; a man for the millennium. A diversified, multi-cultural, post-modern deconstructionist; politically, anatomically and ecologically incorrect. I've been uplinked and downloaded, I've been inputted and outsourced. I know the upside of downsizing, I know the downside of upgrading. I'm a high-tech low-life. A cutting-edge, state-of-the-art, bi-coastal multi-tasker, and I can give you a gigabyte in a nanosecond. I'm a hot-wired, heat-seeking, warm-hearted cool customer; voice-activated and bio-degradable. I interface with my database; my database is in cyberspace; so I'm interactive, I'm hyperactive, and from time to time I'm radioactive. Behind the eight ball, ahead of the curve, ridin' the wave, dodgin' the bulle
Have you ever been offended, or emotionally distraught by a terrible, damaging hurricane that happened to have the same name as you?
My real name is Sebastian, and as far as I know, there has never been a "Hurricane Sebastian". Thankfully. Can you tell us your story if a Hurricane given the same name that you have, caused any social problems for you?

I know there are minor differences between these two subspecies but can't recall what they are exactly. Thanks!
2 AnswersZoology3 years agoHas anyone ever driven a segway down a ski slope?
These things have been around a long time now. But I only see them at malls. With all the Daredevil snowboarding going on these days, I'm wondering if anyone has developed a Segway snow vehicle yet?
4 AnswersSnow Skiing3 years agoHow would you rate my cartoon contest entry?
The New Yorker magazine has a weekly contest. They supply the visual and then you're on your own. Here's one example, with my caption in place. How would you rate it on a scale from 1 - 8? With 8 = OUTSTANDING.

9 AnswersPsychology4 years agoHow can Marco Rubio possibly justify his claim that President Obama is undermining the Second Amendment of the Constitution?
In his talk at the White House today, President Obama pointed out that he is a constitutional lawyer. Marco Rubio may be a bright guy, I'm not really sure.....but I am sure that President Obama has a deeper understanding of how the Constitution works, and how the Bill of Rights works. And I am quite sure that he is on solid legal ground and taking the executive actions that he took today. I would love to hear Rubio's counter argument. I would love to see the two of them debating this issue in an open forum.
10 AnswersElections5 years agoWhy can't the wall to keep undocumented Mexicans from entering the U.S.A. be an invisible, electronic fence?
Wouldn't it be a lot more feasible and affordable to set up giant tasers at the border that are triggered when people are attempting to cross the border? It wouldn't be foolproof, but any system would have some kind of flaws or weaknesses, right? I'm guessing a strong, well designed taser barrier stretching virtually the entire distance across the southwest would cost about a trillion dollars less than a 700 mile, 50 foot wall! Mr. Trump keeps telling us how smart he is, but I really wonder...
9 AnswersPolitics5 years agoHave you ever worked in a retail place as a sales person or a cashier and thought a customer was pathetic because of what they chose to buy?
......what they chose to buy from the place where you were an employee? Stuff like maybe

- some baseball cards signed by Pete Rose, but not-authenticated
- cheap costume jewelry
- hazelnuts in a package that says the expiration date was 3 months ago
- a old tattered book about the top ten Vice Presidents since 1876

How did that work out for you?
9 AnswersPolls & Surveys6 years agoShould Serena Williams give free tennis lessons to teenagers in the worst gang-run neighborhoods of Chicago's South Side?
I was thinking: what if Serena--who is about to be named the best women's tennis player of all time, became a role model for thousands of young kids who belong to gangs and end up sadly, living a life of crime? What if she could teach them tennis--and while instructing them on the various on-court skills, she could teach them how to develop the attitude and skills needed for success in the real world beyond the borders of the ghetto?
2 AnswersPolls & Surveys6 years agoWould you favor moving FEB. 29TH -- the "Leap Year Day" to the end of MAY, making the new day MAY 32nd?
Is February anyone s favorite month? Of course not! Who needs an extra day of winter? Wouldn t you rather have an extra day of springtime? Let s make it the end of May, my favorite month!
