Getting a tattoo soon?

I'm planning on getting the word "fighter" on my foot because since I was born I've been fighting, to live and all that due to health issues. How bad out of 10 does it hurt? I'm pretty small so the tattoo would also be small. I have a tattoo on both my wrists and on my ankle and I've been told I have a high pain tolerance due to all kinds of tests and pokes I've had throughout my life. I think I'll tap out but I was also told the tattoo artists won't stop once they start cause it can give them a bad rep, which I completely understand. I just don't want to look like a cry baby if I end up crying especially being 20 years old.

So how bad does a foot tattoo hurt? It would be kinda on the side like starting a little below my big toe.

Update:

My nose has been pierced 4 different times and my lip has been pierced

I have one on the upper top of my foot. My foot is pretty boney, but it honesty wasn't that bad. It depends on if the tattoo artist is light or heavy handed... Going lower towards your toes may hurt a little bit more. But you should be able to handle it. Just keep thinking about how amazing it'll look after :) Good luck!

  • I've heard the feet can be a sensitive area to get tattooed. If you have a high pain tolerance and if it's a small tattoo then you should be able to through it. Getting tattooed is different then getting a piercing or testing done, a needle is constantly going into your skin and moving around for a period of time. It's not just a quick jab like a piercing or getting blood work.

I never got one but my friend has one and she says it hurt like bi*** , but it depends on how much pain you can handle cause my other friend slept while getting her foot done.
