Well, Shirazz, just a few years ago people like you were advocating the idea of the "Unitary Executive" theory of the Presidency, which would have effectively given the President--who just happened to be Bush--far, far more power than any previous administration in the areas of foreign policy and appointment of executive branch officials.

Now that a different guy is President, conservatives have changed their tune. Ever since 2009 you never hear any conservatives making arguments about how the Constitution gives the President far more power than the President now actually wields.

I would be really interested to see exactly what rulings he is talking about. See, I don't accept what people say without asking for evidence. Was it "Obamacare"? Nope, that went his way. The only ruling I was able to find against him was when they struck down his recess amendments to the NLRB. I suppose you can consider that a usurpation of power, even if the Congress refused to approve any of his nominations, just as they have refused to approve any nominations to head the ATF for six years now.

It is what the executive order says that is in play. Obama is governing by

executive order. That is how he by-passes the congress. Even Bush was

not the damn blatant.

And facts or prosperity have no relevance. All he wants is a set of bullet points for his legacy. He never talks in details, only in emotional rhetoric.

I really don't know what Obama believes many of his statements are contradictory. Regardless of that, this is the reason why we have separation of powers and co-equal branches of government.

I think he has his goals, but knows that there are laws that limit what he can do. At the same time, he's trying to circumnavigate these laws to meet his ends, and is not above trying whatever he can to achieve them, regardless of what the laws state, if that makes any sense.
