Kratom addiction questions?
So i've found myself midly addicted to kratom. I've been dosing up everyday for the past two weeks. About every other day for the two weeks prior to that. I realize that addiction is bad thing and I would like to stop. However, I went cold turkey with it today and felt exhausted and had a headache all day. I assume this is the withdraw. I would suck it up and deal with the effects for a few days to break the addiction, However, im in college and there's 3 weeks left in the semester and I cant deal with the exhaustion and headaches while making the final push for keeping my 3.5 GPA.
Basically im looking for reassurance that if i continue until the school year is over i'll still be able to quit with only mild withdraw

I went through some major kratom usages myself. With a kratom binge I always wound up with a such a high tolerance and being basically burned out that I wanted to end it, and never felt a need to withdraw like with 'real' opiates. But there is the undeniable process, though everything seemed to clear up in about 3 days for me.
I'm thinking you'll be able to wean yourself down sooner than you think. Maybe lighten your doses and lighten up on frequency, and once you get over the hump of course you'll be fine.
Here's part of a thread I found you might be interested in. The rest of the sight is very good.

Take a vary large amount so you OD, it's not permanent but the next day you will feel like you want to die, after that you won't even want to smell it ever again, trust me it will work
