What do these passages mean exactly?

Genesis 2:19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.

2:20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.

2:21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

2:22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

Do they mean that had Adam actually found male jack rabbits to be suitable meets that God would not have needed to create women? One might suppose that dinosaurs were also trotted out past Adam to be selected from as well but, I'll not digress.

Do women exist because, all of the wonderful beasts God created for Adam were rejected by him and god had to give it one more shot?

Would god have considered ANY choice (prior to making women) appropriate and acceptable?

    This was all new to Adam...

    As fascinated as he was by all the different animals, he realised there was something profound missing from his life...

    God wanted him to realise that before creating woman. Once Adam saw her, he must have been totally smitten.

    She was made from Adam and from now on they would be regarded as ONE FLESH. Two separate individuals? Yes, but one flesh thru the Godly institution of marriage. The greatest blessing that a man can ever have in this life...

    The dino's came long before Adam and what these passages are referring to in the creation That God took the elements of this earth which are the zinc molecules carbon, etc. Adam named the animal of the earth at that time. The animals as do humans change some forms but not from the extremes of evolution. Do I believe in evolution yes and it could have been mans beginning just because. What I ask is if we capable of creation and deep space travel in the future could we colonize other planets and if so I proclaim that it is only obvious it has happened on this earth along with evolution. I do not use the bible as a way to prove there is a God it only produces questions in my mind of what is man capable of and in much of it, it teaches me how to become a better human being

    It basically goes to show that man needs woman.

    The Bible says:

    ( Genesis 2:18) "Then the LORD God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper as his complement."

    The dictionary definition of complement is : A thing that completes or brings to perfection.

    God already knew that He Adam needed a female human partner, so why not just make her from the beginning?

    I believe it was meant that God should make woman after, so that Adam could then appreciate her, and that mankind is not complete without womankind.

    Showing the importance of the woman.
