How do I get rid of extra questions?
This morning extra questions started appearing my computer screen.
They are there when I go to answer questions in the forums.
When I answer a question and submit it another page opens and wants me to allow it to post on facebook.
Well I don't have facebook and don't want it, how to I make this new yahoo service stop and delete it from my screen.
Ok I didn't know you could do that,,does it have to be done on every question and every catgory.

Thanks for the info,,,hope it also helped others.
to let everyone know, I did not TD anyone,,thanks for all of the great answers, but it looks as if we are stuck with this new feature whether we want it or not.

Complaints have been streaming in at the Y!A suggestion board already.
Yahoo made a 'default' check in the box for sharing on your submission pages See screen shot http://i.imgur.com/u5tXBCP.png
You can UN check it, and hopefully it will remain UNchecked.
It might come back after you log out though. :(
There is another solution on the suggestion board.
see:
http://suggestions.yahoo.com/detail/?prop=answers&...
There's also a solution (in that thread^) to the ads that are popping up on questions too.
I hope this helps

After you click 'Answer Question' and write your response, before you click 'Submit' on the bottom, uncheck the box that says 'Also share this as an update to: Facebook' and then hit 'Submit.' That annoying Facebook pop up won't show up and Yahoo will remember your settings so it won't pop up again the next time you answer a question either for the rest of the time you are logged in.
I have yet to log out though and clear my computer's cookies, so it's possible that the next time I log in, I will have the uncheck the box again but as I said, once you uncheck it while being logged in, it will remember your settings and you won't get the pop up again for the remaining amount of time you are logged in.
If for some reason your browser is not remembering your settings, no biggie. Just uncheck the box before clicking submit each time and the pop up won't show.

At the bottom of where you submit your answer is a tick box that says to share with Facebook. Untick that box. It should save the new setting so you only need to do it once. HOWEVER, if it doesn't work, clear your cache, cookies and temporary files and restart the device. That should keep your preferred setting.

when you answer a question scroll way down before you submit your answer and uncheck the box that says share to facebook.
I have only had to do it once so far today and it has stopped making me do it in all categories.

Uncheck the publish to FB checkbox. I think this preferences is learned across sessions.
