Do you suppose the Boston Bombers got their firearms from a gun show?
The current leader of AlQaeda said this is the easiest country in the world to buy firearms. He followed with, "what are you waiting for?" "go to a gunshow and start the Jihad". I'm so glad the NRA is welcoming them with open arms (firearms).
Unfortunately, current federal law requires criminal background checks only for guns sold through licensed firearm dealers, which account for just 60% of all gun sales in the United States. A loophole in the law allows individuals not “engaged in the business” of selling firearms to sell guns without a license—and without processing any paperwork. That means that two out of every five guns sold in the United States change hands without a background check.
I've seen several videos of someone purchasing AR-15 at gun shows without so much as their first names were exchanged.
I'm tired of right wing lies.
There will be no national database, another lie.
You claim 99% of the murders are by handguns. So why not a simple backround check for them.
And yes you always site examples where (in your opinion) gun laws wouldn't make a difference. How about the ones where it would?

Don't know.
Hey, would the background check bill that recently failed have stopped them from buying guns? From what I can tell, NOPE!
They could have easily bought those guns at a federally licensed gun store.

I don't suppose anything. I don't need this to go one way or the other for political gain, like you do.
although you might advocate background checks at cooking shows and hardware stores,

They probably got the cookers from Walmart.
Time for background checks at home and gardens shows.

No. FYI they do do background checks at so called " gun shows " but for some reason most of you left'tards willfully stay ignorant to that fact.

Nope, from fast and furious. You do realize that 90% of gun shows do have background checks.

Uh, no. They used pressure cookers and common items that you could find at Home Depot to use as projectiles.
I am so glad the libiots refuse to accept the REALITY that this was terrorism from moslems they haplessly defend as they are being killed.

I dont suppose anything and neither should you. You cannot buy a gun from a licenced dealer at a gun show, period.

Probably not.
Of course, I base my suppositions on knowledge and rationality.
You should try that sometime.
