Don't feed them unless you want them permanently, because they will never leave. Ever. Call the shelters in your area and ask them if they are a "NO KILL" shelter.
Also, you could put a free ad on Craigslist for free kittens.

This is the problem, as you are having, most cat can have a litter of six, and if all are abound it is a multiple, the cat and the kittens should be caught and be looked at, as the way of a veterinarian, there are shelters there, and as i am one whom pays to help, do report as the area and the people should help,
also the Feral cat as you say, the Momma cat, can have a life after she is spayed, and no more kittens, and has a life to be free.
Source(s): I have two cats, from similar as you are asking, and one is spayed, and the other is neutered. - 8 years ago
I would say buy a bag of cat food for the kittens and momma and leave it at that. If you call animal control, they will most likely bring them to a shelter and have them euthanized. I have had the same issue. Try finding a no kill in your area on the internet and call them immediately. tell them you found all of them somewhere and they need help right away. if you just tell them that they are strays, they wont take them because there was no legitiment reason. Trust me. That happens.

I had the same problem, old *** cat in our yard, had like four litters, but she left two behind once, we took care of them and gave them to a friend. What I would do it try to catch them, bring them to a vet, the vet should find a no kill shelter, or a pet store that will take them in, I see cats all the time at petco. And they are for adoption. So I'm sure if you go to the nearest vet they will help them find a home. And you should ask about what to do with the mom, if she is no threat to you then you should bring her in too.

Try to get them spayed/neutered immediately. Stray cats can produce from 2 to 11 million in only 9 years.
