Bath drain cover pops open on its own?

I have moved to this new place on the ninth floor of an apt building and have noticed after I shower and go back inside the washroom after some time I see the drain cover is not where it's suppose to be, instead it's off the drain and sometimes turned upside down. It's a light weight aluminum cover. I find this very spooky. Please help as I live alone.

Is the cover loose like a stopper? It's probably getting displaced by movement of the water in the P-trap when other tenants flush about the same time. The drain then gets sections that are full of effluent with air in-between which compresses as more flush. The air gets forced into your drain which shoves down on the water trap in the P-trap which rises up to your tub drain. The displaced air dislodges the cover. A sharp increase of pressure inside the building drain can pop that upside down.
