Yes, it is youngish, but there is a wide range of ages when people have babies. Some are having their first baby at 20, and some are having their first baby at 40. Nothing wrong with it. However it works out best for you is how it worked out.

I know how you feel but in my case, I'm apparently too young to have a baby at all. I'm 20, have an AA, working, continuing school (in the fall. Had some transcript mix ups), have been married for two years and over all have a very good head on my shoulders. Yet, I am still too young to have a child. He will be here in 3 weeks. So when Maddox is 5, I will be 25. People have babies at all different ages. There is no status quo on when to have a baby- it's when it's right for you. Don't sweat it and enjoy every moment you have! These years won't last forever- embrace them!

Not at all. My girlfriend is 24 and she has a 2 year old. At first she thought that it was not ok but she loves the boy and the 'situation' very much. 28 is good. That cant raise any eyebrows

I had a five year old when I was 26 years old. I know how you feel though. I was one of the "younger parents" too. Just be yourself, be a good mommy and don't give a second thought to your age. In fact, I got alot of good information and helpful information from some of the older moms!

it really is totally irrelevant for him to be interacting with ladies merely out of highschool. i'd say 21 is the bare minimum yet even this is a stretch. i'd be worried if my boyfriend, who's 28 besides, were friends with adult men that age. Your boyfriend sounds somewhat immature. My suggestion is to unload him!

No, you are not that young for having a 5-year-old sun. There's a lot of mums who are as old as you and whose children are 5-6 years old.

You have nothing to worry about.I am 27 and have a 5 year old and a 4 year old. i would rather have kids when i am younger because you have more energy to chase after them lol.

Everyone has kids at different times. I had my daughter at 20. I know someone who had her son at 40. As long as he is happy and taken care of and you are happy nothing else matters.
