My toddler's hair is half way down her back but her nails don't grow at all?

Her doctor thought it was interesting but had no other information. It doesn't seem at all normal to me. We've never seen her bite, chew or clip them and in 2 years we've never needed to clip her nails. Her brother & sister need clipped every other week or so. She eats a wide variety of foods and drinks milk. Any ideas at all?

Thank you for any information. I can't even find a web site that might help.

There are other parents just like you asking the same question all over the internet. :) You shouldn't need to worry, lots of toddlers fingernails don't grow much or at all until they are about 4...

But if you want you could increase her intake of certain vitamins and stuff that helps nails to grow.
