My cat brought a mouse into the house, how do I catch it?
My cat sneaked outside last night and brought a tiny little field mouse into the house for me, lost interest in it and dropped it. My other cat is trying to get him, but I have noticed that he isn't trying to kill him, he wants to play. He scared him and he is now under the fridge, it might be a female and I don't want it to give birth or chew on wires. I have the kitchen closed off, how do I catch this mouse humanely?

Try this link and I could never kill a field mouse as why should anyone want to do that. The little one in your house must be petrified with 2 cats licking their lips then again they mainly traumatise the little creatures by playing with them, if the mouse was bitten then it could be dying as cats mouths are full of bacteria. I hope you catch the little mouse and release him safely back in the fields.

get a mouse trap...just put cheese or peanut butter on it and the mouse will most likely find it (try putting a couple around the house where the cats cant find it) If you are worried that your cat might find it then just put your cats in a room with no mouse traps in it. (if you dont want to kill the mouse there is a kind of mouse trap where it just goes into a little box and sits there after it gets trapped and then you car just let it out when you get it)
Good Luck!!!

Well if the cats won't kill it (not all do), then you will need to set traps out or use the dcon trap where the mouse goes in the box but can't get out. You don't want to just use the pellets cause if the mouse comes out dying the cat could get sick or die eating the mouse that is poisoned.
Glue traps are the MOST inhumane thing!
