Can I get in trouble for this?

Small scratches on the side of someones car in a parking lot. Someone claims they saw me do it, but there's no video tape evidence...my car has a few scratches but its 10 years old so it could be from any accident - no evidence saying that those accidents are directly related. Should I be worried?

No. They're trying to get your insurance to pay for some accident they had. Don't let them. It will put up your insurance.

If you did it, own up to it and make amends. If you didn't do it then don't worry about it. If their are witnesses saying they saw you then you could be taken to court to pay for repairs. Don't lie about it.

The evidence is the witness who saw you do it.

If you didn't do it then no they have no proof or seen you do it just stay away from them and if they keep bugging you give them a good explanation or give them money and ask them if they can please leave you alone like a boss.
