Do you know what National Day today is?

Just found out this morning that today is National Eat Anything You Want Day.

As I always try to be a good Citizen, I will indulge.

Since anything goes for today, what are your suggestions for something good that you would not normally have? Could be sweets or a large steak and potato meal - since we don't have to worry about our usual diets.

I'm headed for the store this afternoon. Can I pick up something for you?

Just saw in my store's circular they have a special on their store-made strawberry shortcake - good cake, strawberry preserves, whipped cream, fresh strawberries on top. Yumm! So I'm set (even though I really shouldn't), but, oh well, we really have to do our part.

    How about a great big box of Junior mints .A good old fashion chocolate malt with extra malt. A lobster dinner, oh I better stop at that . I am greedy. Too, too greedy. I will share with you. Thank you for the offer.

    Thanks for the information. In that case, I'm having ravioli, a salad and hot garlic bread sticks.

    Strawberry shortcake? I love it served on a old fashioned powder biscuit and topped with vanilla ice cream. But I don't have any, but I'll keep that in mind when shopping next week.

    They have a day for that?! I do it nearly everyday. Unfortunately, my appetite stinks and I really don't want much stuff that isn't good for me which is really boring. I could use a Kit Kat bar, though.

    I had hot pepper pizza for breakfast today!

    I'd love a waffle bowl hot fudge brownie sundae from Dairy Queen but I should NOT even consider it!
