Whats the best solution for chronic insomnia?

I have tried so many things. Sleeping pills, melatonin, chamomile tea, exercise, warm milk blah blah but gave up too quickly on each. Is doing nothing about it the best solution?

There is one very effective way which cured me in just a week.

You take a bath, get fresh in the early morning during sun rise, and then meditate for a few minutes.

During the day, never take a nap and do a lot of physical labor( or try exercising ), in night, don't try to sleep but read your favorite books and drink a glass of hot yummy milk alongside. When you're tired, switch off all your electronic devices and switch off the lights, and sleep now!!!

While sleeping, you can try listening to a slow music(which must turn off on its own after a while), don't think of anything.

next morning, wake up early again, exercise.

Source(s): Follow this for a few days and you'll be cured. Or go to have a natural therapy at Kerla through a medical journey. Massage also works. If you're never happy, you can't sleep!

For the most part, it depends on what's causing the insomnia. For example, if you are constantly being woken up at night due to sleep apnea, often this can be cured by surgery of the sinuses. Alternately, if you don't sleep because your bed is uncomfortable, a new mattress will go a long way. Sometimes stress causes insomnia, and getting a new job can help. If it is seriously a chronic problem, I recommend that you look for a sleep clinic in your area, to have your problem analyzed on a medical basis. For what it's worth, my daughter had good luck using melatonin.

Happiness...but oh wait how are you gonna achieve that? Think, the less stress the healthier you are. Try meditation and yoga and all that good stuff, i also have it, but i dont mind as im doing nothing atm to my life, but if you could watch some hypnosis for bedtime and focus on it you could sleep so fast, that worked for me, i just went straight asleep (i couldnt believe it when i woke up 3 minutes after because my grandma decided to wake me up xxD)

From what you've written I see that you haven't tried an acupressure mat or an infrared heating mat - Both are very helpful to me when I have trouble sleeping. You can see more about these here:

Have you tried NyQuil? Nothing else that's over-the-counter puts me to sleep, but that stuff does the trick.
