What are your favorite books?

I'm looking for some new reading material. I read quite fast and go through books like crazy. It would be interesting to see what other people recommend. So if you could, tell me you're favorite book and why. Or give me your top 3 list. Mine is, 1: Harry Potter. 2: Complete Work of Edgar Allan Poe. 3: Perks of Being A Wallflower. Have fun! (:

I'm glad we pretty much like the same books. I do like Edgar Allan Poe's work, particularly the story Cask of Amontillado.

Chaos Walking trilogy by Patrick Ness (the second is amazeballs, haven't been so stuck into a book for ages)
Blood Red Road by Moira Young (heard it's going to be a film, like the first book of Chaos Walking)
Phil Earle's books Being Billy, Saving Daisy and Heroic. Being Billy is my favourite and I've yet to finish Heroic but pretty good so far.

I like fiction mostly. My favorites include Harry Potter, Lord of The Rings, The Hobbit, A Song of Ice and Fire and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I can't really rank them, but these are definitely my favorite books of all time.
