What are the best ways to pay it forward?

In a sense, to share the love. Yes, this sounds cliche. But today, the woman in front of me at the drive-thru paid for my meal. She was long gone before I could thank her-- before I'd even known she had done it. I went through a toll booth shortly after and paid the person behind me's toll. I was inspired by this random act of kindness a complete stranger gave me. Something as simple as holding a door for someone, picking up something they've dropped... it's made me feel like one person really CAN make a difference.

What are some random acts of kindness you've done or have been given to you?

I have paid for people in the drive thru behind me. I have also left change at a store to cover all, or a portion, of the next's person's purchase. There have been times that I given people up to $5.00 is a supermarket when they were short on their total.

On May 8th, I was watching the Jeff Probst Show and one of his guests was a man named Seth Collins. His brother, Aaron, unexpectedly passed away last July at the age of 30. One of Aaron's friends told Seth that Aaron had mentioned having a will and, after scouring Aaron's computer for three days, Seth found Aaron’s will.

The final part of the will said, “My life was a party, and my death should be too . Any money that is in my bank account is to be used in the following ways. First of all, pay back my mother and father if they are still alive. Second, give come money to a homeless person, tell them why you are doing it. Third, leave an awesome tip, and I don’t mean 25%, I mean $500 on a pizza for a waiter or waitress”,

He contacted friends and family to raise the $500 for the waitress and he filmed it so that he could post it on YouTube so that those who contributed could share in the warmth of the event. What he did not expect is that his video would go viral and within three days, over $60,000 had been donated by viewers who wanted the family to continue the mission.

To date, Seth and his family have surprised at least 46 waiters and waitresses by fulfilling Aaron's last wish and they had enough to give at least 50 - 60 more tips out. In each case, they filmed it and posted it on YouTube as well as their website, http:aaroncollins.org. In many cases, once the waiter or waitress got over the initial shock and surprise and came to understand that it was not a prank, they indicated that they were going to share it with co-workers or find other people to help. In some cases, the waiter or waitress was in a bind and that money helped them quite a bit.

His mother, Tina, was also on the show and she wrote a book about her son. In the most recent videos, she has given a copy of the book to the lucky waiter or waitress of the day.

Currently, Seth Collins is trying to raise $5,000 to give a $500 tip to one lucky waiter or waitress in all 50 states. The $5,000 is to cover gas expenses for his 6 - 12 month endeavor while the $500 tips will come out of the other generous donations. There is a link on aaroncollins.org for people to donate and there are incentives, too.

Why did I bring this up? I was inspired by it and I wanted to help to pay it forward. Unfortunately, I am currently unemployed however I have shared this with various friends, strangers and organizations in hope that word of mouth would spread. This is also a way of paying it forward.

This is the segment from the Jeff Probst Show http://www.jeffprobst.com/posts/3257_how%E2%80%A6 On the same episode of the show, they also featured a Florida real estate office in which 11 of 12 employees put $20.00 each in to play the Florida Lottery and they won $1,000,000. The 11 employees unanimously decided to split the winning equally 12 ways and include the newest employee who was pinching her pennies. They were featured near the end of the Seth Collins segment and one of the women said that she was going out to dinner that night and she was going to give a lucky waiter or waitress $500! Paying it forward works!

I wish you all the best!

If money became into no merchandise i could like to help single mothers purchase their very own properties with money they'd have adequate money so as that they do no longer would desire to circulate and uproot their toddlers so many times. With such extreme housing expenses there isn't any way they'd do it on their very own!! i've got no longer gained the sweeps stakes yet tho, consistent with hazard next 12 months!
